- 1st make the sugar syrup by boiling sugar,water and lemon juice in a pan.Cook until sugar dissolves completely.Simmer for 10 minutes.Now add Orange blossom water and rose water.Remove from heat and let the syrup cool completely.
- Now in a separate pan add sugar and water mentioned in the cheese roll ingredients.Add milk and bring to boil.Add the mozzarella cheese and stir continuously,reduce heat.When cheese becomes soft and smooth add semolina and mix thoroughly.Add rose water.Within a minute the mixture will become a soft dough.Remove from heat.
- In a clean counter top spread some sugar syrup.Over this transfer the cheese dough.
- Now add some more sugar syrup and roll the dough with rolling pin to a thin rectangular shape sheet.Trim off side if you like to make the shape firm.
- Now take some stuffing with a spoon and spread over the long side of the sheet leaving 1 inch gap.Now roll the sheet over the stuffing so that the sheet completely covers the stuffing and seal the side by pressing nicely to form a long log.
- Trim off the side from the rest of the sheet using a sharp knife. Like this make more logs stuffed with cream repeating the previous step.
- Keep these logs in the refrigerator so that we can easily cut these into small squre shape sweets.
