The ingredients needed to cook Kodo millet paniyaram:
- You need 2 cup Kodo millet
- You need 1 cup Samak rice
- You need 1/2 cup Urad dal
- You need 1 tsp Methi Dana
- Prepare to taste Salt
- Get 1 tbsp Chopped green chilli
- Get 2 tbsp Chopped coriander
- Take 1/2 cup Chopped beans
- Take 1/2 cup Grated carrots
- Use 1 tbsp Curry leaves
- Take 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- Use 1 tsp Chana dal
- Use 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- Provide 1 cup Curd
- Prepare as needed Oil
Instructions to make Kodo millet paniyaram:
- First soak dal, kodo millet, samak rice and methi Dana for 4 hours
- Now blend into fine paste, mix salt, curd and keep aside for fermentation. It will take 8 hours at least.
- Now heat 1tsp oil add mustard as they crackle add chana dal curry leaves switch off gas add the tadka over to fermented batter.
- Now mix all coriander, chilli, beans and carrots. Mix it well. Batter should be semi thick in consistency.
- Heat paniyaram pan pour the mixture apply oil lower the heat cover and cook one side.after 5 minute flip them and cook both sides.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney.
