The ingredients needed to prepare Kerala sukhiyan:
  1. You need 2 cup cooked green gram
  2. Use 1/2 cup desiccated coconut/ grated coconut
  3. Prepare 1 cup jaggery melted
  4. Use 2 cup maida/ all-purpose flour
  5. Use 2 tsp turmeric powder
  6. Provide 1/2 tsp Salt
  7. You need 1 tbsp Elaichi/ cardamom powder

Instructions to make Kerala sukhiyan:
  1. Mix boiled green gram, grated coconut, elaichi powder and jaggery together in a large bowl
  2. Take a small portion of above mix and make into a lemon sized ball
  3. In an another bowl mix maida/All-purpose flour, salt, turmeric powder into a thick paste without any lumbs
  4. Cover the green gram mix in this maida mix
  5. Deep fry the balls in the oil. Cook until it become golden brown. Remove it from the oil.
