  1. Provide 1/2 cup besan/gram flour
  2. Take 2 tomatoes
  3. Use 1 inch ginger

Instructions to make Gatte ki sabji:
  1. In a bowl add besan, salt and ajwain. Add soda, turmeric powder, chilli powder, 1 tsp oil, 2 tsp curd. Mix everything well.
  2. If needed add some water and make a soft dough like roti dough. Cover and keep aside for ten minutes.
  3. Now grease hands and roll out dough balls in 1/2 inch diameter logs.
  4. In a pan boil some water and add logs(gatte). Boil them for 10-12 minutes till they cooked.
  5. Cut in small pieces and keep aside.
  6. Now for gravy heat oil and add cumin and hing. Saute then add turmeric powder, coriander powder, and dry fenugreek.
  7. Saute for 1 minute than add tomato, ginger and green chilli paste.
  8. Saute the masala untill to see oil leaving its edges.
  9. Now add curd. Mix well keep stirring and add salt and garam masala. Add water for gravy.
  10. After 3-5 minutes add gatte. Cook for 2 minutes and switch off the flame. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with chapati.
