- Get 2 tsp Kashmiri Chilli powder
- Get 2 Green chillies
- You need 2 tsp Grated ginger
- Get 1/4 tsp Hing /asafoetida
- Prepare 1 tsp Garam masala 1
- Take 1 cup Besan/gram flour
- Provide as needed Coconut oil -for deep frying
- Get to taste salt
- Get 2 sprigs curry leaves -2 sprigs

- Slice onion into thin pieces(lengthwise).Add required salt and mix it nicely with your hand,so that water(juice)will ooze out from onion.
- Add grated ginger,chopped green chilli and chopped curry leaves,garam masala and gram flour.keep this aside for 10 minutes.No need to add extra water.
- Add a spoonful of onion batter mix to the hot oil and deep fry it.Add 3- 4 spoons of batter separately,deep fry it until both sides turns golden brown.Drain it to a tissue paper for absorbing excess oil.
