  1. Prepare 1 kg Chicken cut into medium pieces

  6. Take 2 Tsps Red Chilli powder

  8. Prepare 2 Tsps Garam Masala Powder
  9. Get 3 Tbsps Lemon juice

  11. You need 5 Tbsps Coconut Oil
  12. Provide 3 1/2 Cups Onion sliced thin

  15. Take 1 sprig Curry leaves

  1. Grind everything under 'To Grind' into a coarse paste. Use half of this paste to marinate the chicken. Keep it for 30-60 mins.
  2. Shallow fry the chicken pieces in 3 Tbsp Oil  in a non stick pan until both sides are light brown. Transfer to a pressure cooker.

  5. Add the above mixture to the chicken waiting in pressure cooker.  Add 2 cups of water. Wait for 3 whistles. Let it cool down.
  6. Transfer the contents to the pan and let the gravy thicken.
  7. Once its almost dry, add the coconut milk.
  8. Switch off the flame. Sprinkle the items under 'To Garnish'. Close the lid and rest it for 30 mins.
