The ingredients needed to cook Poha Hearts:
- Provide 2 Cup Poha/ Flatten Rice
- Take 2 Potatoes medium Boiled Peeled and mashed
- Take 2 tbsp Bread Crumbs
- Take 2 tbsp Rice Flour
- Provide 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- Take to taste Salt
- Use 1 tbsp Fresh Cilantro chopped
- You need 3 Green Chilies finely chopped
- You need 1 tsp Kasturi Methi
- Use 2 tsp Lime Juice
- Get As needed Oil to deep fry
Instructions to make Poha Hearts:
- Wash and Soak poha in water for 5 mins and then strain it and drain the excess water.
- In a mixing bowl take drained and squeezed poha, mashed potatoes, bread crumbs and all the spices.
- Mix them all to make a firm dough. If necessary add little water.
- Take a small ball of mixture and press it gently to make a round disk. Now with the help of any cookie cutter give it a shape. (I have used Heart shape).
- Do same with the rest of dough and make poha hearts.
- Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry all the POHA HEARTS till golden brown and crisp.
- If you want you can pan fry it also. - - Serve hot with ketchup or any dipping sauce.
