  1. Get 1 cup Besan
  2. Provide 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  3. Get as per taste salt
  4. You need 1 cup rice flour
  5. Take 1 tbsp lemon juice
  6. Prepare 1 tbsp mustard oil
  7. You need 1 decent-sized cauliflower
Steps to make Cauliflower Pakoras:
  1. First, you need to wash the cauliflower and cut it into medium-sized pieces. If you cut the cauliflower too big, it doesn’t cook well from the inside.
  2. Then, boil the cauliflower in hot water for 8-10 minutes in high flame, so the cauliflower will be half cooked.
  3. On the other hand, add 50% besan and 50% rice flour in a bowl to prepare a smooth blend. Add a pinch of pepper, Haldi, Salt, one tablespoon of lemon juice and one tablespoon of mustard oil. Then make a smooth paste.
  4. After that, heat some oil in the pan, toss the cauliflower in the besan paste and add into the hot oil. Once you add the cauliflower pieces into the oil reduce the flame to allow then cook well from the inside. Remove the pakoras from oil when they turn golden brown.
  5. Now the pakoras are absolutely ready to be served hot. You can eat these with tomato ketchup and tea or eat with hot steamed rice as well.
