Instructions to make Oha Soup:
  1. Pluck Oha leaves along side with your uziza leaf. Put them in a bowl. Was the meats(cow leg and sharki) thoroughly, put them in the pot and steam to tender. Please stwam with only water.Boil the cocoyam to soft for pounding.
  2. Pour the meat stock in the cooking pot, alongside the meats, add the washed stockfish to the pot. Cover and allow to steam. Make sure the qty of the water in the pot will be the size of the soup. Add the pounded cocoyam, add red oil, add ogiri, add maggi cubes and dont cover wit the pot lid. Leave it open and allow it to boil throughly. You will notice that is thickening, add your pounded crayfish, yellow pepper.
  3. Once the crayfish enters in the pot, you will notice some foaming bubble on top, dont cover the pot, allow to boil well,once the foaming part has gone,Add your half cooked diced kpomo, boil for 5mins and pour in your chopped uziza leaf, stir fr 2mins and put your oha léaf with salt to taste.
